Self-efficacy has been of help to me as I have always given my best in attempting things that are somehow not achievable. I have in some cases been courageous in attempting the things that may appear challenging and undoable. An example is a time where I had a feeling that I could not make it through my course. I gathered all the courage I had and convinced myself that I was able to do my best and set my mind at completing the course and attained my grades (Coon Mitterer, 2013). In improving my self-efficacy, it is important to try and control the overconfidence that I have in believing myself. At some point, the overconfidence that I have seems to be capable of defining my failure. In controlling me, it is possible that I will always think twice before making certain decisions or even attempting certain things.
